Low Carbon Sustainable Future Trust Fund Akwa Ibom is a non-governmental organization dedicated to creating a sustainable future for Akwa Ibom State. Our mission is to develop and manage climate change mitigation, adaptation resilience, and sustainable development strategies to transition to a low-carbon economy. We aim to expand the global framework for assistance by strengthening policies, regulations, incentives, institutions, operations, and financing, all geared towards accelerated development and transformation to a low-carbon economy.
We align opportunities for collaboration, partnerships, and relationships with a global audience, ensuring international best practices in low-carbon economy development planning, project structuring and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and delivering enhanced and sustained living standards. Our goal is to accelerate the delivery of a new model of resource efficiency, nature conservation, and socially harmonious urban and rural development paradigms across agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, energy, housing, water and waste management, health, and education.
We firmly believe that economic development and environmental protection are not mutually exclusive and that achieving both is not only possible but essential.

We raise and channel capital resources into climate change solutions, providing effective, efficient, and high-impact advisory services for governments, corporations, and institutions. Our focus includes the development, financing, and management of climate change projects, as well as exploring carbon market trading opportunities.
Our emphasis is on fast-starting and fast-tracking climate change project transactions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and environmental pollution in the areas of food production and security, sustainable communities, forest management, marine and coastal management, waste and water management, renewable energy, electric power efficiency, and sustainable clean transportation systems.
We provide strategic, policy, and funding assistance for promoting, building capacity, procuring, and financing low-carbon and sustainable projects aimed at poverty reduction, financial inclusion, gender empowerment, youth employment, and community welfare.
